Jim Funari is founder and CEO of StratusLIVE, LLC, a provider of cloud-based CRM, marketing and fundraising software for nonprofits, foundations and higher education. StratusLIVE’s software is used by many large nonprofits across the United States and its workplace giving software is now in use at over 1,000 companies nationwide.
In his role as CEO, Jim guides the company’s strategy and oversees the StratusLIVE product portfolio. Prior to founding StratusLIVE, Jim was CEO of Compass Technology, a leading provider of integrated CRM solutions and services to the nonprofit sector.
He has over 30 years of experience in management and technology leadership across the nonprofit, financial services, technical services and transportation industries, and his work has been recognized in a number of periodicals including Forbes, ComputerWorld, Communications Week and PC Week. Jim has served on various boards and initiatives including Regent University’s board of trustees and the Governor’s Main Street to E-Street Task Force, which enabled Virginia businesses to pervasively use Internet technology.
He is a board member of the Asia Minor Research Center and has also served the local community on the board of directors of Hampton Roads Teen Challenge. Jim earned a B.S. in Business Administration from Bluefield State College and a M.A. from Regent University.
