James E. Black, Jr., PE is a founding partner and president of BBG Incorporated, located in Chesapeake, VA. For over thirty years, BBG has provided engineering design, product development, and manufacturing services, fielding products to every continent in the world.
Mr. Black is a graduate of Old Dominion University, earning a degree in Electrical Engineering (’80), and has served on the Engineering Advisory Board for over six years. Mr. Black is a proud supporter of the Old Dominion Athletic Foundation, providing support for men’s and women’s basketball, men’s football, and men’s and women’s sailing teams, in addition to the Frank Batten School of Engineering, providing funding for special projects and establishing the BBG Incorporated Endowed Scholarship in Engineering.
